DICE MediaBridge and FMRDS-USB Pro can be easily updated by connecting it to your computer with the included USB cable. Firmware upgrades will fix any known issues which are described in the Release Notes. Always install the latest firmware version available.

Firmware updates are ONLY available for the DICE MediaBridge, DUO, Universal RDS and Universal RDS USB.

NOTE: You MUST first register your product before trying to update firmware. Update will not complete wihthout registration. If you are not registered, please visit: http://register.diceelectronics.com.

How do I update the firmware on my DICE MediaBridge, Silverline DUO or
Universal RDS or Universal RDS-USB?

1. Download the Firmware Updater program:
   
   Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista or Windows 7 (supports 3-bit or 64-bit operating systems) | DOWNLOAD
   
   Mac OS X 10.5 or higher (supports PowerPC G4/G5 and 32-bit or 64-bit Intel processors) | DOWNLOAD
   
   Linux (supports x86-compatible processors, 32-bit or 64-bit distribution | DOWNLOAD
   
   

   Other system requirements:

   • Internet connection
   • Recommended minimum PC configuration: RAM: 512MB, CPU: 1Ghz, min. 25MB free space on hard drive
   • Available USB port
   
   
   
2. Download the Firmware Updater Manual
   - FIRMWARE UPDATER USERS MANUAL
   
   
3. Follow the instructions in the manual to run the updater.
   
   
   
4. NOTE: Module settings (gain, charging time, text display, etc...) will be reset to default after updating the firmware.
