I purchased this system before it had iPod charging--and I'm still happy with it. The sound in the store was nearly indistinguishable from the Audioengine A5, although that speaker will play louder and has a tad better bass. But this system rocks--the sound is sparkling clear, balanced w/o being boomy, and a joy to listen to. Use it as your computer speaker system, and you crank your iTunes all day long...sweet.

I received this system as a gift and I am very very happy with it. Unlike other iPod speaker systems at comparable or lower prices, this system has a very good sound, no matter what kind of music I play - Rock, New Age, Classic, you name it. I am thinking of getting a second one so that I can listen to my iPod upstairs as well.
